The BG Home Movers started in 2005 when our owner, Jason Wood, saw the need for experienced movers in our community. Having worked for our parent company BG Home Furnishings for over 20 years, he realized the combined experience of his furniture delivery and scheduling capabilities made this a natural step for the company.
Hiring only the best and training each new team member on the best way to protect furniture, move furniture and maneuver homes of all types has created an A Team! BG Home Movers comes fully equipped with all the necessary items to keep your personal items safe. Furniture blankets, straps and dollies and tarps, our team can take one look and know exactly what they need to get the job done.
Jason Wood
Owner
Jason is originally from Frankfort, KY. He has worked in the Moving and Furniture Business for 20 years. His favorite part of his job is working with his long-term customers and building relationships with new ones. Outside of work, Jason loves spending time with his family and friends and working outside. He has two wonderful daughters and an English Bulldog named Jr.
Kody Straley
General Manager
Born in Owensboro and raised in Bowling Green, Kentucky, our General Manager, Kody Straley, has been part of the BG Home team for 8 years. Delivering furniture and managing delivery schedules, Kody brings with him a tremendous amount of experience in the moving world. From gun safes to dining tables, there isn’t a moving task Kody cannot handle! Outside of work, Kody loves spending time with his fiancé and two sweet daughters.
